Dilkusha : The Musical

Dilkusha The Musical is a historically significant production in Seoul, based on the real-life story of American journalist Albert Taylor and his wife Mary, who built the "Dilkusha" house and helped expose Japanese colonial rule in 1919. Developed via the Cecil CREATing project, it tells a poignant story of love and bravery during a pivotal time in Korean history.

The musical focuses on the couple's time in Korea, their home named "Dilkusha" (Hindi for "Heart's Delight"), and their contribution to documenting the Independence Movement. Following development in 2022, the show has been refined as an historical musical.
